Folk craftsman, creator of folk costumes
Elvira Gavriș learned the art of sewing at home, in the family. Sewing since the age of 15,she loves folk art, she has over 50 years of experience in this field. From the hands of Mrs. Gavriș come folk costumes, especially from the Transylvania area, items with which she participated in exhibitions in the country and abroad. She is proud to be part of the select group of those who promote Romanian folk art, her reign and member of the Romanian Academy of Traditional Arts and expert teacher at the Tudor Jarda Popular Arts School in Cluj Napoca.
