– Luna Solai Mihai Tulai, is from Luna commune, Cluj county, and produces a wide range of cold pressed oils. Started as a small business, out of the need to process sunflower seeds from families in the area, it has developed over time, reaching today to produce sunflower oils, pumpkin, flax, hemp, walnut, rapeseed, but also spicy oils. Passion for cold pressed oil: The story of the cold-pressed oils from Luna began in 1998, in a village in the Transylvanian Plain, Luna, the name from which the product brand is inspired, where the tradition and experience of farmers in processing sunflower seeds are at home. In 2012, Luna Solai was born, from the desire to offer to those who appreciate the traditional taste and flavor, a healthy, natural Romanian oil rich in nutrients. Luna Solai. A premium collection of cold pressed oils, which combine taste and health, in a modern form, but based on experience and tradition in cold processing of seeds. Assorted to a healthy and balanced lifestyle, Luna Solai cold pressed oils bring to the diet all the natural richness of the seeds, processed through a pure process, which preserves the taste and properties of the pressed seeds. We worked constantly and we grew every day… the end of 2014 brought us the title of Official Supplier of the Royal House of Romania, a recognition of the quality of products and the value of our brand. Luna Solai products enjoy international recognition, the year 2014 marking the moment when the ITQI Brussels Jury evaluates sunflower oil with a gold star. In 2015, pumpkin oil receives two gold stars, and in 2016 it is the turn of walnut oil to receive the same number of stars, a performance equaled this year by rapeseed oil. This year, the ITQI Brussels Jury re-evaluates sunflower oil as a Superior Taste Award and is awarded three gold stars, a unique performance in Romania in terms of food.
